MAP has carried out a wide variety of projects in the Mearns area. These include:

• Establishing Laurencekirk Out of School Club
• Establishing Mearns Healthy Living Network
• Carrying out a "Community Planning Project" which looked at methods of engaging with the community.
• Facilitating a review of "Villages in Control"
• Administering the Tullo/Twinshiels Windfarm Community Benefit Fund which distributes around £100K annually to communities in the Mearns Area.
• Setting up Mearns Cycle Hub - in progress
• Been the subject of a paper written by Dr Karen McArdle of Aberdeen University titled “Researching Success”
